Blanton’s Bourbon 93 Single Barrel was once reserved only for foreign dignitaries, ambassadors, and the family and friends of Colonel Blanton. Today, the world’s first single barrel bourbon is accessible for everyone. Consider yourself lucky.
This bourbon is the standard bearer for single barrel bourbons, and the taste profile is sweet with citrus and oak. On the nose, a creamy vanilla aroma features hints of toffee, nuts, caramel, orange and light chocolate. When it hits the palate, a mix of caramel and orange carries on from the nose and mixes with burnt sugar and cloves for a full and soft taste. The finish is balanced with vanilla, honey and citrus notes.
It’s best served in two ways: neat or on the rocks.
